Engineered by a 3rd-year Science Olympiad coach and mechanical engineer dad alongside his sons and daughter. We manufacture precision testing rigs and launcher hardware that keep team builds square, repeatable, and competition-ready.
Multi-Height Wall Mount • Integrated Bubble Level • Test Block & Chain
Front View: 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm indexed holes & level slot
Curated wood packs and glues guaranteed to meet structural weight limits and material constraints outlined in the upcoming 2027 rule release (Sept 8, 2026).
Designed directly from 3 years of hands-on coaching and field testing. Built to deliver consistent launch angles, reliable pressure holding, and repeatable release cycles so students spend their time optimizing bottle aerodynamics and parachutes rather than troubleshooting fittings.
We are finalizing the mechanical quick-release trigger. Final photography and pre-order links will go live following current test cycles.
I’m a mechanical engineer by trade, but coaching Science Olympiad events for my 3rd year has been one of the most rewarding engineering experiences I’ve had. Working with students on events like Boomilever, Ping Pong Parachute, and Egg-o-naut showed me how much learning happens when testing rigs are dependable, accurate, and fun to use.
Kinship3D started as a way to share the fixtures we engineered for our own team with other coaches and parents. It’s also a hands-on vehicle for entrepreneurship with my kids: teaching them how real products go from CAD sketches to slicers, physical test plates, and customer packaging.
My sons and daughter help brainstorm, assemble, and—most importantly—test! each fixture until we know it will survive competition day stresses. When you use a Kinship3D rig, you’re using equipment tested by young competitors who know what it feels like to wait for that bucket to fill.
